The Initial Earthquake Response (IER) project aims to provide urgent and critical assistance to families affected by the earthquake. The project will focus on providing life-saving interventions such as food, water, sanitation, and shelter to those in need. The project is scheduled to run from 6 February 2023 to 20 March 2023, and will benefit 8,450 individuals.
The project includes the distribution of food parcels and ready-to-eat meals for families living in collective shelters. In addition, NFI hygiene kits will be provided to ensure families have access to basic hygiene supplies. The project will be implemented in Aleppo, Hama, and Latakia, and will be funded by the ADRA Network and MENA Union
