The Response to the Emergency through Life-saving Initiatives for Earthquake-affected Families (RELIEF) project provides essential assistance to 108,616 individuals affected by the 7.8 magnitude earthquake which struck northern Syria in 2023. RELIEF supports families’ recovery efforts by distributing hygiene kits and/or multipurpose cash vouchers to affected families, hiring daily workers to clean emergency shelters and supplying local municipalities with equipment needed for water network repairs. 

Funded by ADRA International, the project is being carried out in the Aleppo and Lattakia governates from March 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024.
