Responding to Infrastructure Needs for a Safer Environment

benefiting 30,000 individuals

In wake of the 2023 earthquake which struck southern Türkiye and northern Syria, the Responding to Infrastructure Needs for a Safer Environment (RINSE) project provides 30,000 individuals with access to urgent water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services in highly vulnerable, underserved communities in the governate of Lattakia, where some of the greatest destruction was seen. Funded by SlovakAid, the Slovak Agency for International Development Cooperation, activities include improving access to water through rehabilitation of boreholes, water networks, elevated water tanks and pump stations. Project implementation started on August 1, 2023.
