Muhammad, 38, was severely impacted by an earthquake and now resides with his wife and six children in the Adnan Al Malki collective shelter in Latakia.
“After the earthquake destroyed our home, we sought refuge at Jaafar Nassif school, an improvised shelter hosting many people. Sharing a classroom with another family was uncomfortable, making it difficult to change clothes and maintain privacy.”
“During our stay, ADRA provided crucial hygiene supplies to us and others in the shelter. We had to leave our homes without any belongings, and now our only possessions are the clothes we’re wearing.”
“When the Jaafar Nassif shelter closed, we relocated to the Adnan Al Malki school shelter, where ADRA continued supporting us. They supplied hygiene kits and facilitated solar energy, water heaters, and bathrooms.”
“I’m incredibly grateful to ADRA and their dedicated team for their unwavering commitment in meeting our needs and providing assistance.”
